Final Fantasy 7 must be one of the best damn games ever. Such a good game with a fantastic storyline, good game play and when it came out the graphics were pretty good. Very in depth and draws you into the storyline very strongly.

Doom is just a classic. When i'm bored I play zDoom, which is a version of doom 2 with updated control system. This is the only game that still actually genuinely scares me. Very very creepy game, more so than any other game I’ve played including doom 3 and AvP series. As for doom 3 it was good, but got a little samey.

Warcraft. It’s taken over my life. Need I say any more?

Unreal is great for a blast, and I was pretty good at it too. 2004 with the vehicles was a very very fun game.

Half life and its sequel were both groundbreaking, and the mods are games in themselves. Fantastic.

WoW: This game has taken my entire life down peice by peice, replacing it with WoW. I think i should stop playing for a week or so... But i wont... there is no way


DoW: This game rules... lots of good graphics and tonnes of cool hours of gameplay.. sadly it loses its replay value... once you're done the one path campaign then its only skirmishes and online play.. but nonetheless it kicks ass

Doom 3: Yup, its freaking scary. It's horrifically real-looking and good physics/realism etc... As Xo said, a bit repetetive. Walk into room--> Lights go off --> Demons summon themselves --> Zombies come at you from all directions --> you hope your muzzle flash will illuminate the room as you fire madly--> You are left with an empty clip and a load of dead things around you--> walk into next room....

Starwars Battlefront: Just got leant this from a friend of mine so i havn't gotten into it yet.. and i play wow all the time. Its pretty cool.. like Battlefield except starwarsy.

Other monumental games:

Half Life and HL based games (opposing force, blueshift etc):
Needs no explanation. Buy the combination pack with all the games and you'll see the light. I've not played HLII but i've heard it canes.

DOUG: how about a reveiw on that game where you are in roman times or whatever.. its called mighty max or somthing.. the one that we played soon before you moved... first person shooter where you're in that collesium with all the beasts and shotguns and stuff...

Something I really loved about doom 3 was the berzerker mode. That was fantasticly done.

Will Rock? :D Cheesy as hell title but a pretty good game if i may say so. Game play graphics are ok although the movie scene type things are bad enough to be considered none existent. Highly addictive with some pretty awesome weapons. That lever action shotgun still blows my mind, although excessive times of very little action and running around inside enormous complexes and then everynow and then coming across an arena where you are faced with hundreds of hundreds of enemies ranging from fire breathing eagles to skeletons on horses to beast things to cyclops's to tigers can get on ones nerves... This game was a freebee that came with a graphics card i bought a while back to enable playing LotR return of the king... turned out the freebee was better than LotR... B)


Red Alert 2 is still by far the best 3rd person strategy game i've ever seen

LOTR: ROTK is a really cool game doug.. i love it.. it kicks ass.. esp with cheats.. you just run around with deadly mode, god mode, infinite ammo and perfect mode on the whole time.. gets you through the levels much faster...

Excellent games in my opinion.

I do love being Legolas with his double arrow shooting thingy on the Southern Gate level... B)

I find using god mode (invisibility thing i believe) boring....so i wait till i've been wittled down to no health then use the health refill cheat... adds an extra flavour to the game.



Another excellent game is GTA: Vice City...

Yea, cheats tend to ruin games.

Some games... not all games... LotR: RotK the cheats really add something to the game... especialy seeing as it prevents that annoying die scene from happening.

Champ manager on the PC is my favourite game, with Bulder's Gate 1 and 2 and Red Alert 2 as other great games. I don't play game much though, too busy with Bath City FC and school. However now the football season has finished I will have to find another way to spend my time!

that dont happen any more thank god.. once we cleared up the PC it worked a lot faster and it never happened again.. cheats change some games from frustrating hard to enjoyably time wastingly easyly fun.. i like cheats.. but i dont use cheats to complete the game.. only for messing around after i've done it..

Yea fine when you've done the game without the cheats.

I cheated to complete Star Wars Epidsode I racer on my N64. Put on all the cheats, invinsiblity, ability to see through walls... etc... still couldn't win.... So I took cheating to a whole new level. :jumpintheFIYA: I stuck the Auto-pilot cheat on the last level and held down accelerate, boosted whenever i could... and I won... it was magnificent. :D

Yeah, N64s rule. I've got to say that because its the only thing i have except for the PC. I can't see the point of getting any other now because i have too much work on.

Haha! autopilot cheat??? i never knew that?.. N64s are great cos of all those cheat cartridges.. like action replay etc.. loved that game star wars racer.. couldn't do it without invicibility..
