Yesterday was great. It was basically another day off because of the Ecosystems field trip to one of Singapore's Incinerators () and land fills. Imagine the putrid stench of rotting waste, cockroach infestations (in the staircases and dump sites - but of course, a place like that has strict pest control) etc. The landfill site, which is actually an 'artificial' or reclaimed island made entirely from the ash from the incinerators plus soil and sand (for future use as a recreational island) was rather boring.
After getting home i went to Matt's place with Anupam and Kos where at first we watched some of Reservoir Dogs, then drank, listened to Decapitated and did some house moshing . After watching 28 Days Later we tried to call a taxi, but due to some maintenance problems i stayed over the night with Kos.

We had some hilarious discussions around the dinner table.

Sounds like good times.

I'm going to the opera tonight.

Fucking Great...just great. Fucking High Fever and Migraines coming on and off. Just what I need now ....

Opera was good. Spent today clearing up fucking leaves in the garden, which now looks shit, consequently.

sunday... Homework day today. Luckily i finished it all really fast so I have lots of free time now. My cousin went out with my parents somewhere and left his girlfriend in the house alone with me . I got her to make me some pizza for dinner which was quite good. Tons of Tabasco....hmmm yes. Then Listened to the whole fucking Sheik Yerbouti Album and now probably just going to go through some Enslaved. Im in the mood for some less heavy stuff today.

Did a lot of driving today. Drove to Borders, stopped by at Home Depot, came home. Bought some books. Been doing homework ever since. Back to school tomorrow. :/

Spent a good 2.5 hours improvising after school, everything from free improv/jazz with the jazz combo to playing along to nice modal progressions with Mr. Quam. Then saw Beowulf with some friends. Bit of a crap movie. 4/10.

Now its midnight, just submitted a history assignment, drinking an excellent glass of Cabernet Savignon, listening to Olatunjui's "Drums of Passion" and about to settle down for a night of composing.

Friday: Went to finish the Zushakon demo which will be ready in a few weeks.
Saturday: Had band practice with 2 bands: first FS with Matt, Anupam, Krys etc, which wasn't bad. Right after that i had to practice with another band for another 2 hours (altogether from 6-10) which ended up giving me a pretty bad headache due to the lack of food and drink. After that i met up with Matt and Kos again, ate a bit while they drank, then we went on an epic journey from boat quay all the way to Raffles City to find a money machine so i could get some drinks. After that we walked back to boat quay, bought some stuff in 7/11 and drank by the river. Funny shit.

Its been snowing fairly consistently all day. Nothing has settled yet though. The drop in temperature must have been sudden as the ground isn't yet below freezing. Expected to continue snowing into tomorrow.
