Ditched.

Bummer man. I've really been enjoying these last few days. Holiday's been more than welcome.

Had an eventful last couple of days..
On Thurs night, went to watch Superbad with Mike, Nic and Vicky, which was a sufficient amount of fun for $8.50, I recommend it if you're in the mood for a bit of stupid comedy. It's not like american pie or that scary movie shit, in that this movie is actually funny. Then we went to west coast park for a couple hours' chill. went home. the went to nic's place and watched star wars and chilled, then went home again.

Friday was pretty good. Packed and got ready for a dive weekend with my dad on Sibu Island. We left the house a little before 5 so we could cross the causeway before it jammed as it does later in the evening. In 2 hours, we're at some jetty in the pitch black with no one but a renta cop in sight- but we anticipated this since we arrived early. An hour. No one's shown except for this french woman. Half an hour, a bloke appears who says he's from the Sibu resort and says we'll wait 10 mins for the other guests before we get on the boat for the island. 10 mins. 2 minibuses arrive and this girl called Emerald gets out and apologises for her tardy. 30 mins (we've been waiting more than 2 hours for our boat now) and Emerald comes back to us. She tells us there is a problem with the boat's license- it doesn't have one. 20 mins. There are no boats which can take us to the island which are properly licensed. Sigh. Dad and I turn around and make the 3 hour drive back to singapore.

I haven't been doing much these past few days. The time spent at home has either been occupied by playing guitar, composing, or getting things ready to record the Zushakon demo, which i will probably start tonight by recording some bass lines.
Since we've had guests staying in the guest room (where the computer is) for the past few days, i haven't been able to get on the computer at night. Instead i've been watching all of my metal dvds on the tv in the living room. Emperial Live Ceremony on friday night and the Rebirth of Dissection last night.

Yesterday was pretty tame. slept in till around 1, spent the rest of day either reading, playing wow or other menial things like that. nothing much.

Today i've again slept in. don't know what to do with my day. Might go shoot some gun later on with my dad.

Superbad is the most win movie out there.

The concert itself is really tight - no mistakes or anything, as expected with Emperor, but i just find it a bit boring. Boring lighting, short set, NO special features like interviews, backstage etc... It's similar to the Mayhem live in Marseilles dvd i guess.
