Anyway, now, I am listening to my new Pierre Boulez CD (lots of awsesome piano stuff, you might like it Krys) and packing my bag ready for school tomorrow.

Righto, its mainly in the D minor key, 4/4 time. I made it really retarded in the B middle section where every note is a triplet and it goes all off beat. Choir/Strings mainly chordal, harpplaying a riff kind of thing, piano plays melody but really shines in the B section. The epic sound is mainly there fore the ringy sound so it feels echoy. There is alot of broken chords by the harp. Mainly 1,3,5 because I didin't bother with other chords until as of recent I've thought to myself zomfg it would've been more krieg. Piece has a tempo of 60 and has a 100 bars... you can work out how long that is. Influences from Chopin, Mozart, Graveworm, CoB ?... Overall it may sound nice but problem my teacher said is that i can't write melody for nuts well he can go fuck a cane toad...

Heheh. Well it's not something like Finntroll or Ensiferum if you were wondering. It's more in the vein of Falkenbach, which means the keyboard sections aren't very technical, however i'll still probably end up using MIDIs.

Meh I've listened to one Falkenbach song and honestly admit its bloody amazing, planning to pick up some... Its more keyboard heavy than Summoning but uber epic I still think. If you need help with clear vocals, I'm a bit classically trained but not for the retarded uber high like I can do yo viking chants or what ever you need.
